Jesus Alejandro Nuñez
Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Jesus Nuñez graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. After several development internships with major studios (including FX and Blumhouse TV), he has written and developed several independent productions, including the award-winning 48hr short film Mr. Shady Shades. Most recently, he wrote and directed the film Unidos ’26, a powerful narrative short film exploring the effects of the 2025 ICE raids on a youth soccer club in Los Angeles.
After an early screening with Sanctuary Cinema in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the film will screen locally in Los Angeles before beginning its festival run in early July.
